A whole island. One place to start.
This was not the usual kind of ask we get—and that’s exactly what made it interesting.
We helped Mare Island Company turn its story into something people could carry in their pocket. The Mare Island Navigator app gives visitors an easy way to explore the island in the San Francisco Bay Area through an interactive map, curated content, and a built-in audio guide.
For this project, we shaped the app architecture, designed the UI/UX, built the product, produced the audio recordings, and brought everything to launch. Not the most typical Transparent House case, sure—but that’s exactly why we like it.
