At Denver's Outdoor Retailer Snow Show in 2019, Mountain Hardwear revealed an Augmented Reality (AR) experience designed for a younger audience. Transparent House led the development of this AR project, which allowed viewers to preview camping gear and apparel — all the way down to scale, features and details — in their own spaces and outdoor environments. The project won the prestigious "Best in Show" award from GearJunkie Magazine's editors. Jeff Brandon, Mountain Hardwear's associate director of brand deployment, perfectly described the experience. "This technology enables a more informed gear-shopping experience in a fraction of the time," he said.
