Willkommen in der Zukunft!
In 2020, Transparent House was charged with bringing an old 19th century building into the modern era, in order to attract a new generation of tenants in the historic Kreuzberg area of Berlin. Typically at TH, we work on architectural visualization for completely new buildings often months away from actual ground being broken. For this project, we were tasked with updating an existing building, working closely with architects and interior designers to bring this new modern version of the building to light. Paramount to this effort, was ensuring that TH represented not only the new building renovations, but also how these new renovations would appear in the larger context of the community. Through the use of practical photography and photomontage, our artists blended real and CG elements together to simulate a photorealistic representation of the updated building, successfully transporting the Stresemannstraße 32 building into the 21st century.
