12 Years of TH – Celebrating our Path to Success
To celebrate 12 years of TH this month, we are sharing some of our most notable moments. Thank you to our clients and collaborators who have joined us throughout this incredible journey. Our team of forward-thinking creatives continues to push boundaries and we look forward to creating with you in the future!
Summer 2004
After working for three years as a freelance 3D artist, Yuri Pitomstev, approaches his childhood friend, Denis Krylov, to start a new visualization venture. The studio is named Transparent House. One day after launching the TH website, Denis receives the company’s first commercial project – a residential development in Florida. Soon after, Denis registers Transparent House at the San Francisco city hall – we are officially a company. Denis and Yuri work full time jobs while still developing TH on the side.
Spring 2005
TH opens it’s first production office in Moscow. Denis starts working at TH full time. Krista Mollion joins him and they both drive sales for the company from their home office in the Presidio of San Francisco, California.
Autumn 2005
Transparent House begins working with Apple retail to produce renderings for some of their first California stores. In the next 6 years, TH produces renderings and animations for over 150 Apple stores. TH also works on the visuals for the first stores in France, Germany, Japan and China.
Winter 2006
After almost two years of hard work, TH moves to an office space in Jackson Square, a quaint neighborhood of San Francisco, predominantly occupied by creative agencies and design firms. The SF team is established as Denis and Krista on board the company’s first employees.
Summer 2007
Our growing portfolio expands as major clients include REI, GM, Sony, Microsoft and Sephora.
Summer 2008
TH receives the Best CG Image award from CGArchitect.
Autumn 2008
Transparent House develops a series of it’s own product designs such as Tape Lamp, Concrete Art and Perspectiva lamp. These projects garner international coverage from various design blogs.
Spring 2009
As one of the very few non-architectural studios to submit to the 11th ThyssenKrupp Elevator Architecture Award challenge, TH’s Crescent Moon submission receives international press coverage. Although we didn’t win the competition, the images produced become the most published images as of today for this competition. Publications include magazines and architecture books.
Autumn 2010
For the launch of Apple’s first iPad, TH creates an internal project called “Anatomy of Apple” depicting various Apple products throughout history.
Winter 2011
Situated in the heart of historic Jackson Square, TH opens a new office in the oldest commercial building in SF. The interiors designed by the TH team receive multiple features in design blogs. Our Moscow team joins us to attend the office opening.
Spring 2011
As technology advances, TH challenges itself as a creative agency. Our team finalizes our first Virtual Reality creation. Over time, our agency develops an internal team dedicated to VR research and development, this team exists as subsection of the company called THVR.

Our production team films in various SF locations in addition to green screen CG integration. The tower later sells for a record-breaking SF residential market amount. Once the tower is sold, the new management team hires Transparent House to re-brand and initiate the new marketing campaign.
